River Raisin Marina & Campground
River Raisin Marina & Campground is a privately owned, public-use facility. It is located on the River Raisin in Monroe County, Michigan.
The location offers boat storage and launching facilities for trailers with electric motors only. Camping at the site is allowed by overnight moorage of private pleasure boats at no charge. There are picnic tables available to campers near the river's edge that are subject to flood conditions during periods of heavy precipitation. When flooding occurs, campsites will be moved back from the water as far as possible under emergency conditions. This property remains closed until further notice due to damage sustained from April 16-17 2011 Flooding event along the River Raisin
One can find many activities within 50 miles including hunting fishing hiking mountain biking bird watching canoeing snowmobiling and swimming.
The site is open to the public, there is no fee to enter. Although not currently operational the marina will launch boats with electric motors only. There are picnic tables near the water's edge for campers to eat lunch while fishing or camping overnight in their boat. Water levels fluctuate at this site so it can be flooded out sometimes.
