Riverview is a city located Wayne County, Michigan. The city was incorporated in 1959 and has a population of about 12,400 people according to the 2010 United States Census. Riverview, which is positioned in the southern portion of Michigan, is located along the shore of the Detroit River. During the Cold War, the Department of Defense operated a missile launch site in the city on what is now Young Patriot’s Park.
